Self cleaning suction filter 14'' installed submerged in water at centrifugal pump intake for protection against damage to impeller and restricted flow/cavitation. 
When pumping starts, water flows through the screen while organic debris and other floating material are accumulated at the external surface of the screen which prevents their entry to the pump and irrigation system. 
Screen is cleaned by spraying water from an internal nozzle system that rotate continuously and cover the entire screen surface.
